Rappan Athuk Reloaded on Amazon

For the ultimate Necromancer Fanboy/Collector:

Bill Webb is out to shame all of the other publishers with this year's offering. Last year they boasted the single largest bid, can they do it again? Chances are, with this prize, they just might do it:

If you win the ENnies Publisher Dream Date with Necromancer Games, you get #1 Rappan Athuk Reloaded box set. They're numbered. You get the first one. And Bill will autograph it, and spend the evening of the Awards with you. Heck, he'll even try to drag you on stage if Necromancer brings home an ENnie.

Support the ENnies, score sweet swag. Hoodyhoo!

freebfrost,

Every mention of it has indicated no pre-orders at GenCon, but it has not been stated in black and white.

I e-mail Bill Webb pretty regular, I'll ask him for a specific answer. It would be nice to have my copies autographed.

OFFICIAL word from Bill Webb, co-owner of Necromancer Games. They (pre-orders) will ship out via the mail the same day GenCon starts, from Atlanta. They will not be taken to GenCon (pre-orders).

We can't bring pre-orders to the Con. There are lots of reasons, but basically, we can't really do that. If you pre-ordered you should get it in the mail.

We plan to have a good number of copies at the convention. WW re-orders if they don't bring enough so we should have copies available every day of the con (at least in the morning).

As far as Amazon, you can go ahead and go for it, but Amazon and the large book chain orders (ie. big discounters) will get their copies, if any, last. This means that if we do sell out quickly (and we certainly hope we do) Amazon might not get any copies at all.

Amazon does tend to put up their prices, etc. based on the earliest information they get, as many of you have noticed, a lot of books change a bit from the initial plans before the final release hits the shelves. I don't know what Amazon will do about the prices, but at $25 they will definitely be losing money as we simply can't afford to sell to anybody at a price like that.
