Raptorian/Dragonborn?

I have a question concering this scenario. Now let's say a character is a Raptorian, who alreayd has wings and such, decides to become a Dragonborn of Bahamut, meaning they undergo the trasformation to become a Dragonborn. What exactly occurs in the sense of the Raptorian's natural wings? Do they lose them? That's sort of like suddenly losing a pair of arms . . . it just doesn't add up to me.

Basic question, does a Raptorian who goes through the Ritual to become a Dragonborn lose their already standing wings?

Raptoran's wings and flight are a racial trait. The rite of rebirth says you lose the features of your original race, so yes, they lose their original wings. To put it another way:

No trying to double up on dragonborn racial features by being clever.

I would think that most Raptorian Dragonborn would take the Wings racial ability, or swap out for the Wings feat (not sure of the names, AFB).
