They get a 5 from me without hesitation. Both as a customer over the years starting with Dragon and Dungeon, and at the moment doing some freelancing for them I've never had anything but a positive experience. They have a knack for knowing and responding to their reader base, and the production values of their stuff has in recent years been among the best out there (they're giving WW a run for their money in that department IMO).

I'm eager to see where they go with the Pathfinder rules (though I will admit to not having read it fully in depth because I run incredibly loose with the rules anyway), and their Pathfinder/Golarion setting has hooked me rather deep at this point.

They're earning every drop of my gaming attention and good will that WotC has been losing, and I say this as someone that was hooked hardcore by WotC with 3e. As WotC has been hit time and time again by self-inflicted uppercuts, Paizo is one of the companies out there that has seriously taken advantage of it. Paizo has made themselves into a model to be followed in regards to product quality and ability to market themselves to a demographic.

Simple put, Paizo has my business and WotC does not.

The Pathfinder series have produced some my favorite adventures since the advent of 3.0.

Ysgarran.

4.

Paizo when they still had Dragon/Dungeon: 6.

I understand the loss wasn't their fault, but I immensely enjoyed what Eric & Co. did with Dungeon (in particular) and Dragon. I don't get as much use out of their PF and GM lines, and am not interested in the PFRPG.

So if a rating has to include whether I regularly purchase products from said company, then that's why there's been a drop.

If it doesn't include that, I'd give them a 5 or 6 based upon their past work alone.

Not a fan of the prevalent attitudes and acid on their messageboards, but very much a fan of the people running that company.

They get a 5 from me. After all the complaints and whines about the Polyhedron content (which, I admit, I didn't like either but was consistently encouraged by Paizo's obvious willingness to listen to customers), I have been consistently impressed by Paizo's responses to customer complaints. The quality of their work has been excellent and thoroughly enjoyable.

I gave them a five. They do great things but I hear their support of brick and mortar stores could be a bit better.

I rated Paizo a 5. I think very highly of them as a company. Unfortunately, I am now most likely about to cancel my subscription to Pathfinder, because I've switched to 4th edition and am not switching back. I may keep the subcription though. It is possible if Paizo/4th edition fans with more time than I put together conversions of the adventure paths that I might be able to use them. Or I may be able to get some ideas from the adventure paths to use in my own adventures. They really make adventures the way I love them. If only they produced them for 4th edition..... Maybe some day.

I voted for "6" but right after I clicked the "Submit" button, I realized that I shoudl have voted "5" -- I think that waiting for a year after the release of D&D 4e to release Pathfinder is not a such a good idea.

I supect that after a year, people will already have committed to a system that they like for most of their fantasy gaming needs, be it D&D 4e or one of the already available 3x alternatives (e.g., C&C, Grim Tales, Legends & Labyrinths, etc).

By that time, the Paizo brand name may be the only thing that Pathfinder really has working in its favor. I could be wrong (and hope that I am), but only time will tell.

At this time, the related WoTC poll has an average rating of 2.89. Paizo has an average rating of 4.12. WoTC, you are in trouble.

Hi!

Given that the numbers of posters on all forums are less than one percent of the total D&D customer base, I don't think WOTC has much to worry about......
