I agree, story was nothing great, but I was so freaked out by the imagery and stuff that I still get the creeep sjust thinking about it after a week.
 

I gave it a 4. Had some good jumps, but it was fairly uninteresting otherwise. I'm not a huge Sarah Michelle Gellar fan, though (which will probably get me kicked out of any fantasy group).

The ending was so much weak as utterly predictable. Definitely not the best part of the film. As to the curse being unfocused, not necessarily. Just because we didn't sit through a three hour long movie chronicling the death of everyone doesn't mean everyone didn't die. Remember the ghosts' activities shown in the movie cover a relatively brief period of time of only a few days at most.
