[Ravenloft] 3rd level adventures

So what would be some good ideas for some 3rd level adventures? I dont want to start them in Mordent so close to Van Richten and the Weathermay-Foxgrove sisters.

What do you suggest?

I was thinking something in the foggy streets of the place where they have Bloody Jack and trying to solve those crimes.

Well there is a 2e module on that called hour of the knife that you could get the pdf from svgames.com (don't know if it is up or not) but that was for something like 9th level characters and was more than a bit heavy handed on auto death situations.

If you can get the Book of Crypts set of short adventures and are willing to do a small conversion I really got good mileage out of the baron evensong adventure in there and there is a low level werewolf hunt as well. Also the Mummy and zombie ones from the first set of adventures (pre conjucntion) were low level and I found them really fun to run.

If you are making up your own, a city murder investigation is a fine idea for a low level group.
