D&D 5E [RAVENLOFT] [5e] Death House OOC

Ah, there was the ammo. I thought I had seen it. Good, good. I'll put some of those other rules on as well (probably when I finish reading all the combat and spell stuff...i'm not entirely sure what everything i've taken does yet!)

I actually thought I was going a bit long on the background, apparently I was just typing in a large font. I did want to leave the organization kind of malleable though since I didn't know what would fit in the campaign. I was definitely thinking an Inquisition type of organization, taking children from wherever they can find them, then just brainwashing/indoctrintaing (in a good/homicidal way) into zealous warriors. Individuals given pretty much free reign, but little support. Each to his own, kind of a fanatic Witcher.

It will be very interesting to see how he and Farshid do together.

[MENTION=6829052]Wrex[/MENTION], saw your note in the IC. If ever you see something on the site and you want to emulate it in your own posts, you can click "Reply With Quote" to know how the author did it. In the case of OOC tags, you do this:

[ OOC ] Insert stuff here [ /OOC ]

Remove the spaces between "OOC" and the brackets, and it'll produce this:

OOC: Insert stuff here

Same thing for spoiler tags: [ SBLOCK ] Blah blah blah [ /SBLOCK ]

[SBLOCK]Blah blah blah[/SBLOCK]

You can name your spoiler tags: [ SBLOCK=Undercommon] Undercommony speech goes here [ / SBLOCK]

[SBLOCK=Undercommon]Undercommony speech goes here[/SBLOCK]

And here's the GM tag: [ GM ] Secrets go here [ /GM ]

GM: Secrets go here

There's also dice rolling. I recommend [MENTION=6799753]lowkey13[/MENTION] for a tutorial on the EN World dice roller. #smirk

In all seriousness, the first page of our OotA OOC thread has a decent EN World dice roller tutorial. But make sure you ask lowkey13. He really IS the expert.

By trial and error. Mostly error. :D

Speaking of dice rollers...

When I'm a player, my favorite dice roller is (now) Coyotecode, since IC is seriously unstable. When I'm a DM, however, my favorite dice are in the mason jar on the shelf above my head. I don't typically link to my rolls like CB does because, well, you don't see what I roll behind the screen either, right?

That being said, I'm perfectly happy to change that convention and link to all my rolls using coyotecode, if that is the group's preference. That being said, if that turns out to be the case, whatever rolls, goes.. for better or for worse. C'mon.. have you ever known a DM not to fudge a roll once in a while?!

Let me know.
