Ravenloft: [Genre Favorites] vs. Vampires

Looking at this Ravenloft adventure, I've realized that anything vs. vampires makes a good one-shot. You could run Ravenloft with any sort of protagonists, and it would be hip.

Pirates vs. Vampires works...vampire from the old country sets up shop on his own creepy island. You just need to make Stradt a French noble, and voodoo things up a bit.

Ninja vs. Vampires works, although you might need to move the whole thing to Japan.

Cowboys vs. Vampires is super-cool, although I don't entirely know why the cowboys are in Transylvania.

Lucha v. Vampires...hey, Santo and Blue Demon did it. Silly, but possible.

Any other ideas?

Giant Apes vs Vampires. Ancient aztec-style high priest of the Blood God in a primordial jungle setting, complete with gold ceremonial masks, towering stone ziggurats, and a Mictlan type underworld? Oh hell yes.

Clockwork Automata vs Vampires. Not sure how to pull it off, but I'd love to see it.

Pick up Denizens of Dread, the 3.5 Ravenloft monster book. There's undead ninjas and pirates in there. No cowboys or Mexican wrestlers, but you can't have everything.

Kobolds v. Vampires? Sneaky traps? Vampires refusing to drink kobold blood?

You know, Flumphs vs Rasts in some sort of bizarre floating monsterous parody of the traditional vampire story would be DAMN funny.

Frightened flumph villagers. Rasts in high-collared, red-lined opera cloaks. Mysterious xorn gypsies. Mmm mm good.
