Read/Write for Barbarians

When a Barbarian spends 2 skill points to learn how to read and write any language he knows, does this mean "a" language or "all" languages he knows?

He simply becomes literate savvy, so any languages he already has and future languages he acquires, he can read and write them as well as he can speak.
