Sure... the FAQ COULD be wrong... but it has gone through a least 5 revisions... without this item being changed.

Yeppers- and neither the FAQ or the MM errata has addressed the issue of the Hill Giant's Charisma which is supposed to be 11 rather than 17 as listed in the MM (according to an email I got from Skip). Both have been reworked, added to, etc. and this is one error that still remains.

The FAQ is updated every month with questions from the most recent Sage Advice column in Dragon Magazine.

This item was only added in the update before the MoTW update, and that update also contains a rather egregious error on the sages part concerning how the feat "Quicker than the Eye" interacts with "Expert Tactician."

At any rate, for example, my players occasionally use gestures with me that are not somatic components. I sometimes use such gestures while driving.

Or perhaps "gesture" to him and ask him if that is a somatic component (since I moved my hands, finger, etc.)
