Readying a Silence Spell?

I'd have either direct the player to the local archery range & store to look up some prices or do it myself...

Of course D&D bows and arrows are nothing at all like real world ones, but then again neither is the combat system.

Oh yeah there is also magic in D&D. ;-)

Its very hard to move out of the area of a Silence spell that is centered on the tip of the arrow buried in your spleen.

Hmm. But doesn't this also mean the silence spell no longer has line of effect to anything but your spleen?
