'Realistic' Ability Scores - Distribution, Mean and Variance/SD

Cornell University has a copy, but I didn't think to write down the bibliographic details when I worked there. Maybe you could write a letter to the US Army and ask if they could furnish a title.

Hmm, perhaps I might do that.

You do not by any chance happen to know the distribution of any other such characteristics? (For example, how much people can bench-press, etc.)

Thanks!

Working at Cornell sounds pretty impressive to me - what kind of field did you work in while there if I may ask? Not that it is really any of my business...

I tried to use molecular biology to convince tomatos and potatoes to produce subunit vaccine proteins in sufficient quantity and with sufficient repeatability to be worth distribution as vaccines.

This turned out to be a bit like making it rain by shaking large rattles. There are times when one actually begins to want to do incremental science...

No, and I curse my stupidity often at not diving into the work and getting the useful information out of it--it was a comprehensive work, with lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of data, written in that inimitable "you've got all your life to read this" 19th-century science style. The only thing I remember is that Indiana boys were the tallest.
