I would have loved to, but it seems you thought I was not good enough some years ago...

best of luck with your endevours

Funny how we remember things differently. I seem to recall you wanting to put out a_free_ book that was nothing but charts and rule descriptions, with no additonal writing to put it all into some form of context.

I don't recall ever telling you that you weren't "good enough." Indeed, you came to me highly recommended.

If you'll remember, we actually did begin work on the project, but you weren't open to my suggestions to make the product better. In the end, I stopped working with you, not because you weren't "good," but because you weren't open to anything I had to say on the subject.

Seriously. Nothing quite like intruding on a publisher's request for freelancers and sulking about not getting your work published.

We all get rejected, pal -- I don't go into every publisher's forum and bring it up when it happens though.

I've had nothing but positive experiences with Dave; he pays on time, he calls you up if there's any confusion, and he gets the work DONE. If only every publisher was like him!

yes it is amazing how some remember things the way they want too, and your opinion seems to vastly different to the facts as I remember them.

So once again all the best....

Please keep private disputes more private--airing them in public tends to lead to uncivility that would be inappropriate for the site.

I have had nothing but great experiences with Dave. He has been a huge help when it comes to refining the ideas that I submit. If you are open to positive constructive criticism intended to make your projects better, I don't think you can ask for a better person to work with.
