[Realms] Waukeen

I'm running a new campaign titled Planescape: Redemption. It's about a group of mortal and undead PC's who work for the Abyssal Demon Prince Grazz't, and their dealings in lower planar affairs.

What I'm wondering is this- as I understand it, as of 3rd edition FR's release, Waukeen has been released from Grazz'ts grasp. (Through the events in the "For Duty and Deity" module)- Now, does anyone know who, in the official FR timeline, saved Waukeen? I'd really like to know... I'm thinking of having the first adventure revolve around a quest for vengeance against the adventurers who saved Waukeen and slew Grazz'ts Marilith lieutenant.

Kind of puts the average power level of Forgotten Realms in perspective when a band of adventurers rescue a god and no one bothers to know their names.

Maybe Graz'zt made a deal to have their names expunged in the exchange for keep Wakeen free.
