Reaper's next Legendary Encounters release

These look great and, in general, are much more pleasing to the eye than their DDM counterparts. Of course, we'll need to wait and see what the production versions look like.

I have faith that Reaper will deliver. Reaper has a long history of excellent scultps and I see no reason why that wouldn't carry over to the pre-painted minis -- nor any reason why they'd toss off the opportunity to create a new tradition of quality excellence (in painting).

Those minis are quite nice... especially considering that I couldn't paint to save my life...

Considering that ordering DDM singles from Italy is more complicated and that I find the collectible aspect somewhat distasteful, I'll probably get some of those.

Interesting to note the prices on some of 'em. Almost as expensive as the unpainted metal versions.

I used to paint minis, but these days I lack the time and the patience to do so. I certainly don't mind paying the same amount of money for painted plastic minis than I did for unpainted metal ones, especially since the paintjobs I've seen on them so far are at least as good as I can do, if not better.

Plus, I never did like painting monsters for some reason. The vast majority of my minis are adventurer types. It'll be nice to stock up on some monsters instead of having to substitute elf rangers for gelatinous cubes. :)
