Reccomend me some material for adventuring in Mythic Greece

Shocked that I get to be first to mention Green Ronin's Mythic Vistas: The Trojan War (Trojan War | Geek Native).

Green Ronin's Mythic Vistas series has a book on the Trojan War.

I can also recommend Mythic Vistas: Trojan War and Relics & Rituals: Olympus. R&R Olympus didn't QUITE blow me away to the level that Relics & Rituals: Excalibur did, but it's still pretty good. Except the art (they use Leif Jones a lot, whose style I find repellent.)

There is a second edition green cover book that deals with Herioc Greece that's pretty good. The GURPS book on Ancient Greece is also well done. Green Ronin's Mythic Vistas series has a book on the Trojan War.

Don't really agree on the first, but I will add my vote for the GR and GURPS ones.

Other GURPs and mythic vista books can also be good if you want to do a wider ranging ancient game.

Testement remains perhaps the best D20 product produced.

Yup, Mythic Vistas and Ancient Kingdoms Mesopotamia are what I use for quick stats to many things from that era.

From the sounds of it, Lore of the Gods would fit your needs perfectly. Greek, Egyptian, Norse, and Mesopatamia mythologies and patheons detailed. Moreso than what you find in Deities and Demigods plus it is all 100% OGC.

New Argonauts is surprisingly good for the price, and the Mythic Vistas line rarely disappoints, IME.

Thanks everyone.

I might be picking up R&R: Olympus and New Argonauts. The former is more what I'm looking for; the D&D conventions with a coat of Hellenic paint (rather than some game trying to emulate Greek Myth perfectly). That said, I'm probably going to connect some elements from R&R, New Argos, Deities & Demigods, and a lot of personal knowledge to make the perfect mix.

That said, I'll have to check out Mystic Vistas as well.

I've been considering getting ths book for some time now. I have the Excalibur book (which is great), so I'd like to find out what people think of it. Can anyone point me to some good reviews?
