Recommendation for 3rd Level Module

Man-thing

First Post
Hi everyone,

It's Tuesday so I need to start planning my game for this weekend. I'm currently in a 50/50 mode with some pre-made adventures and some homebrew stuff. I'm looking for suggestions of good adventures for 3rd level character preferable with a mix of wilderness and dungeons. Hopefully someone can suggest something I own or can pick up in pdf.

where is your campaign set? style, environment, technology, etc...?

there are many 3rd lvl adventures in print.

L2 Assassin't Knot

or U2 Danger at Dunwater come to mind for coastal adventures.

I'm currently set in Blackmoor although more and more mystara elements are creeping in. So I guess we are in the the pre-Mystara Blackmoor will using the new book for reference elements while still relying on a bulk of known world material.

I have assassin knot but my group is often the type that plays in the vanquish and gather mode; they are good with puzzles and traps but riddles and mysteries cause intense grief for them .

What's the Danger at Dunwater like?

it is the sequel to U1 Sinister Secret in the Saltmarsh
and prequel to U3 The Final Enemy.

does require some diplomacy and gathering information and clue/fact/puzzle solving

otherwise the humans in the area won't fair well without the aid gained.

If you have access to Dungeon #119, check out Unfamiliar Territory. It deals with some wilderness -dungeon crawl goodness. I've run it several times already and plan on another shortly. Its a good one session senario (about 4 hours).

If I may toot my own horn, check out "Buzz in the Bridge" (which I wrote) from Dungeon No. 110. It's a very short, but lively adventure (with expansion suggestions). It also comes with a cool 4-page miniatures scale map.

The isolated halfing village of Lindley has a problem. The main supply route into town, a large covered bridge spanning a mountain chasm, has been infested by a hive of giant bees. The sheriff has already perished in an attempt to remove the vermin, so when the PCs arrive in town, mayor Dunleary Appletop pleads for their help. A D&D adventure for 3rd-level characters, featuring a miniatures-scale map.
In particular, this is an adventure that's light in feel with a focus on NPCs, so its a nice diversion from hard-core hack-n-slash.
If you do run it, please update this thread because I'd love to hear your feedback!

Stockdale - Do you, perhaps, mean Unfamiliar Ground? I posted a thread a couple days back asking if anyone ran that; it looks like one of the best low-level adventures I've seen since The Lost City. Interested to hear how your group did on it; I plan on using it to kick-off a new campaign within a couple months.

Mighty Halfling - Throne of Iuz is mid-high level adventuring at its best. Well done.

Destan - I'm at work, so I don't the issue in front of me in order to check for a misprint, but here's the Dungeon website indicates it as "Unfamiliar Territory." I'll double check it when I get home for lunch and repost then.
