Recommended Campaigns

Hey guys, I am looking at picking up a campaign this summer to DM for a group. Now since none of my local comic-book stores sell 3.0 or 3.5 books I am left only to buy online, which I don't mind.

I am having a big of a struggle picking out a good campaign to DM.

Must take characters from level 1-20 (or close to it)


Any ideas?

I think you really mean "adventure path" rather than "campaign", in modern terminology.

campaign = world where the adventure takes place, the entire adventure series and everything connected to it.


adventure path = the series of adventures that exist in the campaign.

I suggest trying the Paizo adventure paths - either Rise of the Runelords or Legacy of Fire, or Savage Tides if you can collect all the old Dungeon Magazines. All have really good elements in them. There were a couple after RotR that were still 3.5 before they "went pathfinder", but I don't remember the names of them.

RotR and LoF are available either as print books or pdfs - there are six of them for each AP.

We played a bunch of RotR before I got bored running all modules, so I can really recommend it as a fun campaign. Never did run any of the others...
