It is the year 2115, most of Europe has been united under a single government for over fifty years. This government is the European Federation, a limited democracy that favors the genetically altered (commonly referred to as "genetechs") of it's population and treats the unaltered human populace as second-class citizens. The seat of EF government is the (Now rebuilt for the second time) Reichstag building in Berlin.

Though genetechs make up only 10% of the European Federation's population of 1.2 billion they hold almost all of the power (political and otherwise) in the EF. Genetechs live apart from the "normals" in towering skyscrapers built near the center of nearly all EF cities, while "normals" live in mass-produced apartment complexes. The genetechs are the only citizens with the right to vote, hold important public offices, own a car or even move from place to place freely.

The Coalition is an alliance between Switzerland, New Spain and the United Kingdom against the European Federation (EF). The Coalition has just recently established the CRC (Coalition Reconnoissance Command), a mostly autonomous organization which has the task of conducting all Coalition covert operations in the European Federation. The CRC director, one Gezera Federico, reports only to the highest government officials of the Coalition.

The CRC task force is an assemblage of some of the best agents available to the Coalition. This group also enjoys the best equipment, intelligence and technical expertise available to the Coalition. The CRC takes recruits mainly from the various military and intelligence branches of the Coalition countries.

You will be playing operatives who are about to be assigned to their first undercover duty in the European Federation. Right now I just want volunteers for this game, you should come up with a general concept and possibly a bit of background. After I've accepted the concept you can do the full stats and background. Equipment (except for Cybernetics) will be assigned/requested/bought IC.

Character Creation:
This game will use the d20 Future system.
PC's start with an ECL of 4.
You will be assigned your equipment and a certain amount of wealth for your mission so don't worry about wealth bonus.
28 point buy for ability scores.
Allowed AdC's/PrC's are listed below:
Modern: Soldier, Martial Artist, Gunslinger, Infiltrator, Daredevil, Body Guard, Field Scientist, Techie, Field Medic, Investigator, Negotiator.
Future: Dreadnought, Engineer, Explorer, Field officer, Helix warrior, Swindler, Tracer. And Techno Savant.
Urban Arcana: Sniper, SpecOp


Genetech characters:
I am using a system similar to Mutation Points for genetically altered characters. Characters gain gene-points by taking the Genetically enhanced feat or the Genetech template (Both shown below) these gene-points can be spent like mutation points on a restricted list taken mostly from the mutations in the MSRD. (Those that are not from the mutations table are explained, don't worry.) Genetech characters lose access to cybernetics as the genetech department of the CRC is separate from the cybernetics department.

Genetically Enhanced
You are a genetically enhanced specimen of your race.
Benefit: You gain two Gene Points to buy Genetic enhancements with.
Special: You can only take this feat at first level.

Genetically modified (Template):
Benefit: +8 Gene-Points
Level Adjustment: +1

Allowed Genetic enhancements:

Adrenaline Jolt MP 3
Darkvision MP 3
Energy Diffusion MP 2
Hypersensitivity MP 3

Ability Boost [Major]
Due to your genetic alterations one of your abilities is higher than it normally would be.
MP Value: 4
Benefit: One of your ability scores (your choice) permanently increases by 2.


Cybernetics:
The cybernetics rules from d20 Future are used except there is a restricted list of available cybernetic equipment.

Voice Stress Analyzer

That does look like a great game. I am very short on time for the next few days, but I am interested. I'll get a concept to you over the weekend. I'm thinking of a Swiss genetech headed towards Soldier or Gunslinger, a direct action specialist.

This sounds intresting. I don't own any d20 modern/future books, is there anything required for this that can't be found in the SRD?

I'm going to pull out of this before I get too involved in character creation. Sorry, Mithran. I'm sure you will find enough players, it really seems like a great game.
