Red Dwarf RPG?

Has anyone played it? I saw this today at a local game store and was not aware it even existed. Has anyone played it? Does anyone know anything about it?

Yes, it's out. Been out for a while. At least like 2 or 3 months. It seems decent, but to be perfectly honest I haven't played it nor do I really expect to.

Played it, no. Have it, yes. If anyone has any questions about it, I can try to answer them.

I don't really see how a Red Dwarf specific game would work - it's kinda like Blackadder: there's nothing really specific to the setting other than the main characters and a certain type of humour. Other than that, it's just general sci-fi stuff with no really unique features.

Red Dwarf could easily be set on Earth, in the past, wherever. Just transpalant those same characters elsewhere and you'd still have much the same show.

Yep. I saw it and thought, "Woah, cool!" But on second thought, how could it work as an RPG? Like Morrus said, it's basically a situational comedy, the fact that's "sci-fi" doesn't really matter much.

Thanks everyone. I don't know how it could work as an RPG either, for the reasons stated, but still think I might pick this up to read through and you know...I'm a big Red Dwarf fan so....you know....collectors item and all....
