Any news about Shadowrun Anarchy 2nd Ed?

Let her cook.
It's pretty well known that SRA is the best version of SR.

"Is that true?" You say.

Yes because while I love SR I hate it's system. It's a bloated mess that takes advanced mathematics (partly joking) to do combat. I say this as someone who has played every edition since basic 2E. Not to mention every video game I could get my hands on. Also Cyberpunk 2077 (I want a SR version of that!)

SRA 2E seems to add some stuff to make it a bit less "Very light rules". I've said before that while regular SR leans to far into crunchy, SRA leans to far into simple. Hopefully SRA2E meets more on the middle.

Anyways, anyone heard anything else about it? Thanks!

Sounds interesting. I skipped the 1st book after reading some poor reviews, but it sounds like this fixes a lot of the problems and has a more dedicated focus.

I played a ton of 1e and 2e, and some 3e, but as the system grew it just got too, I don't know, big? With so much lore, and so many player options that it felt overwhelming.

A simplfied system appeals to me a lot.

There's a thread for it on RPG.net where the lead designer has been providing additional info.
I really liked that the lead designer was there answer everyone's questions in that thread. I'm definitely going to pick it up. My friends and I enjoyed playing the first Anarchy rules (I heavily modified it to fit our needs) over the 5e rules and haven't played since 6e. I'm really looking forward to see how Anarchy 2.0 plays.
