OK, I'm going to be getting started in a Ravenloft campaign pretty soon, 8th level, and I'm wanting to be a 5th level Paladin (gestalting Cleric, if he'll let me), first level Hospitaler, and I'm not sure what to do with my other two levels. I'm going to take a sub level, which will let my Detect Evil also show if the creature is redeemable or not, and any time he comes across a redeemable creature, he will only fight it if he has no choice, and will not kill them unless they refuse all chances to repent. Patron deity most likely Pelor, and I'm thinking the other two levels in Justicar, but I want to know what the best options would be. Irredeemable creatures (evil outsiders, undead, etc), he will fight and kill without compunction, but if it becomes necessary to kill one who is redeemable, he does it only with great mourning and sorrow.
