Reincarnation

The entire party is made up of: Monk, Psychic Warrior (claw expert), Psion, and Druid (with Natural Spellcasting feat). Granted, there is only a 4% chance of a brown bear, but almost every form in that list gives bonuses without penalties. The enalties normally inherent in an animal form (no hands, not good at diplomacy) aren't applicable when the maority of the party can change shape when they need hands or a social appearance.

Running a group like that I could see reincarnate being a real issue, and toning it down may be a very good idea. I'd bring it up with the players first, though.

The party's druid died today, and they paid to get him True Reincarnated. He rolled fairly high (using my method) and came back as a Centaur. It could definitely be useful for him, but the 5'x 10' face is going to cause more problems then he may realize. the party is currently exploring the Citadel of the Planes and most of the areas there mean a 5' x 10' face is going to have trouble turning corner (90 degree angels in 5' wide corridors).

Oh my Gosh!!! The Pal in my campaign cam back as that. The most effective thing for that is stairs. Horses can't go down stairs backwards. I recently used a leveled Minitour to Bull Rush the group. Head on into the front-of-the-line Centaur, who then went tumbling down the stairs onto the rest of the party. The session before that, he was climbing up the stairs and got nocked uncouncious by a Hell Cat. He tumbled into the Druid who had just finished healing him.

He refuses to go anywhere near stairs now. Even when in a friendly place.

Then again, your's is a Druid. You'll have to work harder for that one as she won't be up front as often.

We talked about it before doing it, so I think they're fine with it. If it becomes a problem, we can always change it again.
