OOC: Me paranoid, in one of your games? Never! Lol

Angelina is thoughtful. "No, I don't think we should run out of here. One, that would make them even more suspicious of us. Two, we wouldn't be able to figure out what is going on then. They must be moving the treasure to the other huts so we won't find it, which means that is exactly what we have to do. If we keep playing dumb, we have a shot of figuring things out. It's important for us to know if they are working with anyone and if so, who that is. This one," she nods to the possibly sleeping undercover "guide" of theirs, "Might be able to get more information and come on gals, we're not exactly helpless ourselves. So we wait until it's a little later and it's less crowded and we go hunting ourselves. But to be safe we keep our own watches while the rest of us get some sleep."

She looks to the others. "What do you think?"

Angelina smirks, "Well, I did promise to kill him the next time I saw him." She gives a little chuckle but the grin slowly falls off her face. "It is of course quite possible Jack - they - have been illegally working here or that they did not follow the path they were supposed to and got here first. We will deal with that if it comes to pass. It would not be the first time they've played dirty with us or us with them. But in the end, work comes first."

Bella takes a seated position facing the door.

"I have first watch. I'll wander outside occasionally to see if I can catch them slipping. I won't wander far though if I do. Get some sleep ladies."

Yolkana wakes up before Bella takes the first watch, and listens to the information Zephia was able to discover in regards to the hidden landing. She taps her nose a couple of times, a quirk she has when thinking, "It is strange that they have hidden it, as though I have seen most of their fishing being done on the west side, it wouldn't make much difference to have it done on the eastern. I'll take a look around. If anyone comes by, pretend I'm still sleeping." Yolkana appears to be thinking hard on recent events, though if she has any further suspicions she keeps it to herself in an infuriatingly tight-lipped manner you already saw displayed before the attack by the lri. After propping up her sleeping bag to appear as if someone could still be inside it, the state policewoman tucks a small knife into her belt and sneaks off into the shadows to investigate.

The rest of you try to settle in for the night, with Bella taking the first watch, but rest is difficult and uncomfortable. First, the holes in the side of the hut allow the chill night air to blow through and it is hard to find warmth inside your sleeping back because of it. You find yourself tucking into a ball. Also, the roof of the hut was not sealed properly, and night also brings a steady drizzle of rain which dampens your sleeping bags and blankets. Finally, the village seems to have become louder now that night has fallen as the villagers have broken out into some sort of banquet and celebration with a large bonfire and music being played. Loudest of all is a series of drums that are being played without concerns for rhythm or cadence, and you find yourselves wishing someone could give proper musical instruction to the villagers.

OOC: SIEGE check again, based on Wisdom and a challenge of 2. Characters with a prime in Wisdom have to roll a 14 or higher. Characters without a wisdom prime have to make a 20 or higher. Wisdom bonuses and a +3 character level bonus apply to the rolls.

Those that make it:
[sblock]
You can tell the celebration is a front. The loudest of the drums is not being misplayed and is actually sending out a steady beat before pausing. During the pause, another loud drum is answering further away to the northeast. The drummers are communicating to one another, though you cannot fathom the message. It is in a series of short and long sounds.

OOC: Since dream is busy, I'll do a check for Elsbeth. 1d20, +3 for character level, +1 for Wisdom bonus, for a total bonus of +4. Wisdom is a prime, so Elsbeth needs a 14.

[roll0]

OOC: Nailed it! :) Go ahead and practice a SIEGE check if you want, but pass or fail you all can now read the information under the spoiler block in my last post as Elsbeth shares the information.

Bella's roll: [roll0]

(OOC :: I'm not sure of how to format rolls. All I know is if I put brackets around the word roll it gives me a result lol. So if anyone wants to give me tips on how to say name the roll or make it so that the result is visible, that kind of thing. Also since I'm primarily on my mobile I have to post the roll before I can see the results and then to comment on the results go back and edit the post. Lol if there's a better way let me know pls.)
