Queenie

Queen of Everything
OOC: SEIGE Wis Roll (1d20+3=12) Failed. But good practice ;) Also, is the temple to the northwest?

Ang cannot sleep, between the hard floor, the freakin drums and thoughts that go from missing Jack and wishing her were here to assuming he's part of this mess and hating him.

She sits up and whispers, "Anyone else awake? If you're not, wake up, this is important." Once awake she speaks softly. "I'm not sure we can sit around now and, what did Zep say, wait until they slit our throats? They're obviously signaling someone, and they're moving something... probably treasure. We should try to find out what we can but also be ready to haul ass out of here. I think we should dress and crash their little party. A couple of us should get the mules ready and pack up our gear and the rest of us will mingle... and try not to kill anyone. What do you all say, anyone up for a party?" It's dark but the girls know Ang well enough to know she's grinning.

Rubberneck

First Post
Bella smacks her chest with a gauntleted hand and stands up,

"The sheer thought that they think they can take advantage of us and that they underestimated us makes me want to kill them all... Except for the women and children of course..."

She shuffles uncomfortably.

"Might be the lack of sleep talking..."

Deuce Traveler

Adventurer
You strap on your gear and creep out from your leaking hut and avoid the obviously faked festivities meant to draw you away from the real action. Serendipitously, the loud noises of the villagers helps reduce their ability to hear your armor and weapons clanking as you swiftly move from shadow to shadow, up until you stop short of some lantern lights illuminating the eastern part of the village where Zephia found the boat landing. Sure enough, there are four boats being laden with ceramic jars from the villagers, but being collected by rough-looking men and women armed with short, curved blades. The villagers are in turn receiving a number of closed, wooden chests. You see the two Black Earth Clan elders speaking with the taller of the armed boatmen, but can't make out what is being said.

[section] Briony retrieved the group's pack animals, and checked that everyone's gear was intact. She spent as little time as possible on this task, and focused on not being seen or detected. Once she was relatively satisfied that no major component of their gear was missing, she took the reins in hand, and held her sword in her good hand. She mentally rehearsed a story in case she was intercepted before making it back to the group. Just taking the mules out for a walk. They can't stand around unused for too long. Their stomachs get distended. They get hoof rot. They get cranky. They breed. She tried one excuse after another inside her head, not coming up with a satisfactory story why she was out with mules in the dead of night. [/section]

Queenie

Queen of Everything
Angelina put a finger to her lips to indicate quiet and motioned towards the little party at the water. She quietly cast invisibility on herself then slipped down toward the area, hoping she could get close enough to hear what was being said. She's also looking for a spot where there is unattended ceramic jars so she can peek inside.
