"Branwyn, go find me something that will hurt these pirates." she whispers to the bird which fades from existence.

She offers a quick prayer over her companions.

OOC: Hi all, I still exist, took longer to catch up than I thought. Inititive: [roll0] Branwyn is off to fetch a Shillelagh, will return in [roll1] rounds Elsbeth casts Bless her companions, allies get +1 to hit and +1 vs Fear

Angelina glowered at her girl's running off into battle, particularly that Yolkana who obviously had no respect for the group. She would need a talking to and gods forbid something happened to one of them... Still, there was no better way to let off some steam than to punch some deserving people in the face.

Angelina casts her sleep spell hoping to take a few ruffians down so the others could handle them quickly.

Yolkana rushes forth with a curdling battle-cry and slashes a nasty gash into the chest of the now quite surprised lead pirate. He doesn't go down, but he gives a childish scream of fear. Bella attacks the same pirate, though she badly misses, as does Briony.

Three other of the river pirates and one of the village elders collapses as Angelina spell goes off and effects them.

Zephia hides in the shadows, during this confrontation, and as everyone else is distracted, she is able to grab a small jar out of the boat being loaded.

Elsbeth casts a spell of blessing upon the party, giving them a plus 1 to their next attacks and strengthening their resolve.

Yolkana attacks the lead pirate once more before his men can recover.
