I don't mind the change in the hour. What gets me is why they have to do it at 2AM (or 1AM depending on how you see it). I hate getting up at that hour just to change my clocks! :p

Ick...That means it's that time of year where when I get up, it's dark outside. And when I get home, it's dark outside. It's ok for the first few weeks, then it starts getting depressing... :(
Sounds like you're prone to SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) otherwise known as winter blues. You can get special lights that are supposed to help. If it's any consolation, Alexandre Dumas described it in The Three Musketeers. He called it "the melancholy that Englishmen suffer in winter".

I'm just happy I can function as a human being again. I have never done well with the time change through the summer months. It screws up my "internal clock"

HAHAHAHAHAHA! I laugh derisively at all who had to change any kind of clock. We here in Arizona also ignore the madness, and our big cities are all quite a ways from the border so we don't have to deal with that junk, either.

We burn less fuel by having less daylight. We rule.

Or something.

It's not as bad as it was when I lived on the other side of the state (of North Dakota)...the Valley just fills with low clouds that stay there most of the winter. That makes it worse...

It's not really that bad. About March I just starting really wanting to see the sun a little more, though.

I can't wait to get to Alaska (when I can finally afford to move)... almost no sunlight during the winter months, depending where I end up living. Yep. And in the Summer, I'll just hibernate. In case you couldn't tell, I'm with those who love the darkness.
