Reno bound!

Greetings Reno gamers!

I'm in a bit of a quandry and it's going to take some explanation. My 22 year old son moved in with me about 6 months ago. He's legally blind and has autistic tendencies, though he's perfectly capable. Trouble is, his mother wasn't teaching him any independent living skills and he's come to me for that.

Years ago, I promised him ZZ Top and it's happening tomorrow in Reno! I found out that his Mom was supposed to take him there for a little Nevada-style gaming, but she never did. My original plan was to see the concert and come home (Central Valley, California). Now, I'd like to spend the night and give him on opportunity to gamble on Sunday.

We can't do it after the concert. It would fag me out so much I couldn't drive home. And with the tickets and RL concerns, I just can't afford a room. So, is there anyone in Reno with the room and willing to let a couple o' guys flop for the night?

I went to the concert. Couldn't find anyone at the last minute to go with me, so I gave the extra ticket to the ticket-taker! A crazy and fun band named Cowboy Mouth opened. I'll hafta get some of their stuff. ZZ Top came on and it was awesome, as usual. No light show, no props, just good music. They get sweeter everytime I see 'em!

Anyway, I partied with some folks in a booth and one had an extra bed, so I spent the night anyway. Hung out in Reno the next day and came home Sunday night too late to call Nate at his Nana's.

Went to work Monday and he was home when I got off feelin' fine. Three day bug, I guess. I'm glad he caught it up there! I sure don't want the stuff!
