The book has 4 different sorts of Giants who are Demonic cultists, one for 4 distinct Demonic Peinces. This is a Hill Giant who has been metamorphisized into an avatar of demonic Hunger.

It's a Hill Giant cultist of Yeenoghu I believe, not the Demon Lord himself.

That's a Maw of Yeenoghu, a hill giant follower of Yeenoghu.

That subsection of the monster design is the Imposter Gods. That one is a Hill Giant that is consumed with...consuming.

In that case, it’s a perfectly fine design.

I’m pleasantly surprised that WotC actually commissioned new art from real people to replace the AI stuff rather than just remove the old stuff and never mention it again like they did with the hadozee.

The spiky dinosaurs still look silly though, but whatever floats your boat.

I bought Bigby’s on Roll20 and I am not sure yet whether to buy the physical copy. A reprint would fix that.

The original art was by a real artist you does real art. They had done art for WotC since at least 2014, before AI art was really a thing. The just used AI to enhance their art. They even posted before and after photos for people to see if you're interested.

To be clear they are not supposed to be "real" dinosaurs, by behemoth type dinosaurs. For example, the Ceratops is 200 feet long.

Considering how bad AI is with hands, you might have those switched.

I figured out what happened. I read "The new maw of Yeenoghu" as "The new art of Yeenoghu." Easy enough mistake to make even when your eyes aren't watery and swolen.

Also if you haven't read Bigby's, the context of the various Cultists might be obscure (there are 10 different types of Fiant cults that get highlighted, including.aupport for "how do I build adventures around these guys with supporting Monsters?").
