The day the gods died…
I’m working on a world without functional gods… they were slain in the last age. This is the first part of my workaround for not having divine casters. What do you think?
I’m also working on a short prestige class to cover Men of Faith. When I’m done with it I’ll toss it on up here for you all to rip apart for me.
New feats
Divine Lore:
Prereqs: Skill Focus (Know Religion or Nature), 5 Ranks in Knowledge Religion (Nature)
Benefits: Pick your wisdom modifier in spells from either the Cleric (Religion) or Druid (Nature) spell lists. These spells must be of a level you can cast. These spells are considered on your spell list as well as your spells known. Regardless of your actual primary casting attribute your wisdom –10 determines the highest level of divine spell you can cast if lower and your primary if higher.
These additional spells acquire a couple of additional components to use…
1) An appropriate divine focus (unless it already required one)
2) An XP cost of 5 XP’s/per spell level (cantrips cost 2 XP’s each)
You may take this feat multiple times.
