That's a good point. I never even thought about abusing it to sell the ammunition.
With arrows, that's a fair amount of money for low-mid levels. Especially low levels. But with things with more expensive ammunition like crossbows, ballistae, and even muskets (in a renaissance campaign), that could get ridiculous.
