Borg, all the way. The Replicators are just insects. The Reps could be seen as an "undomesticated" wild version of the Borg nanotech. Borg as the hybridization of humanoids and Reps are clearly superior IMO, but then again I am kinda of biased being a humanoid myself. If the two should meet the Reps would be assimilated,

"Replication is futile."

Replicators are effected my ballistics, but you are only likely to "split" them, if you distroy a piece then it won't use that piece. They aren't just bugs, they are smart enough to calculate how much they can eat before the ship becomes unable to land, calculating the other replicators they make etc.

The borgs would board the captured ship and leave, no techno stuff, the reps wouldn't think of the borg off that good a source off metal.

The replicators will destroy the Borg. The Asgard said they are immune to all the Asgard weapons, and they use energy weapons. They borrowed Carter because she coulds help the Asgard build Simple weapons (guns with bullets). There would be hundreds of Borg cubes flying threw space full of replicators if the TV shows ever collided.

Sorry, as much a Trek fan as I am, the Replicator will overcome the Borg Collective. The Borg is a highly advanced species, that is something the Replicator find appealing. They will simply take apart the drones which is a cyborg and use whatever machine part is needed to sustain and survived as they reach the heart of the Collective, Unimatrix One.

Maybe they wouldn`t fight each other - i am not a great Stargate fan, so I did miss some episodes, and I don`t know much about the motivation of the Replicators. But I could easily imagine that the Borg and the Replicators could build a new, more powerful race..

Recently, the borg learned that not every race can be easily assimilated (Species 8472 (?), Voyager ), so they might be ready for negotations... Or the replicator decide that they just let themselves become assimilated...

For the weapons thing: Only the Borg Lore (Data`s "Brother") controlled used hand-held energy weapons. All other Borgs relied on "slam" attacks (and they weren`t very impressive in it - much strength, maybe, but not very fast)

(A further alternative: The Borg already assimilated the Replicator and used them to create their nano-drones )

I doubt a rust monster can penetrate energy shields.

Replicators would probably overwhelm and swarm a rust monster by number and eventually suffocate or choke the monster by blocking the air passage, assuming the creature also survive on oxygen.

I still don't know how that one Replicator that landed on Earth was defeated.

IIRC, a Replicator is only as strong as the material it's made of. That one Replicator that crashed into Earth got into a Russian sub and started making new Replicators from the materials aboard the ship.

While SGC's weapons work badly against the Replicators made from superstrong Asgard and Gou'ald alloys, they could easily melt some steel.

The problem was just to neutralise that one single original Replicator.

It's all IIRC of course.
