WOIN Reputation: How do PCs gain REP for a job in a Career that doesn't grant REP

How does a character without REP as a Career Attribute advance REP?

For example, an aspiring Star Knight wants to work up from Apprentice to Master, in the Rules Reference Document it says "Note that to maintain a rank, career selections must keep a character within that organization." How would a Star Knight progress to Master Rank when REP isn't a Career Attribute for the Star Knight Organization?

I see in NOW core book the GM may award REP for story play, but some GMs may not do that.

The three ways are by taking careers which add REP, spending XP on REP, or the GM giving it as a reward.
