Request: Massive Dungeons!

Several years ago I remember flying buffalo( or someone like them) putting out HUGE random dungeons. They were all fully customized for each individual and they were all completely random. Why did i like them? This is why:

1. 1000+ rooms
2. 20+ levels
3. 100's of creatures in various leveles.
4. Millions in GP's worth of treasure.

They were crawls that were legendary and they were only around $20 to order and they would ship them to you. Sadly, I never got mine as I think they went out of business.

I ask this: Does anyone plan on doing something along these lines? Can it be done with current software? Can you make a 20 level dungeon, randomly populate with creatures and loot, and then have a nice giant map to go off of or severl pages of maps to go level by level??

This would be awesome to see as I love mindless crawls at times and would be fun to just hit random and watch the grid form up and the creatures pile high.

any information on where I can buy this currently please post where as I would pay good money for this! Also if you know the name of the company that put this out please post as well.

THat would actually be pretty cool. But with so many mega modules in the works, woudln't it be better to get something with a plot? It's really hard to say either way, I guess.

sure a plot would be nice, but what I was looking for was just a 'plug-in' dungeon. The way they built these puppies was that they took the standard creatures from the D&D books and the treasure and just hit the RANDOM button and WHOOSH! built huge massive megalayer dungeons with these. Traps, treasure, creatures, all random with stairs and passageways leading interlocking them. It was a work of art but I appreciated it for what it was, a simple dungeon crawl sans the background information.

What about the dungeon generator over at Jamis Buck (http://www.aarg.net/~minam/dungeon.cgi). That does what you describe doesn't it?

And if it does, then please send me your good money directly. Thanks!

too small..these maps were HUGE! Think ruins of castle greyhawk style. And they were for only $15 as well. I am downloading this dungen program, we shall see what happens.

So just break the dungeon down into two 1000 room sections when creating it with the program.

ok better answer:

1. program is not d20 compatible
2. program 2 yr old.
2. program crashes on 8 levels 50 rooms per level
3. program crashes on 1 level 300 rooms/lvl

overall program no work, want better program, wish someone (publisher or anyone) make better program, i pay money for good work with 1000+ room 30+ level dungeons.

I'm likely going to try out Dungeon World (depending on how Treasure Quests turns out), though it might hinge on how well the book will be supported...

I like Jamis Buck's dungeon generator, but unfortunately, it takes too long to muck around with the walls and stats for creatures and such...
