As far as time commitments go, it's measured in how many times a week you can post, the actual time it is when you post doesn't matter.

And here I was hoping for perilous traps and deadly enemies able to lop off our limbs at any moment....


Damn...

The adventures aren't safe, it's just that since you basicly have unlimmited time to think about your actions as opposed to the DM at an actual gaming table that will wait maybe 1 minute before skipping your turn, players in PbP generally take well thought out actions.

We could easily hit upwards of 100 times a week as long as we found an active DM.
With vacation and lack of leading interesting lives we.. don't have anything better to do. Oh, but do to the fact that it's fairly late for us. (5 am for me, 8 am for him) We're going to bed, I'll be up in 10 hours or so and ill post again. I might be able to make a chart or something indicating our "ontimes" and perhaps a good time of day we could all commit to.

Oh, and I'm still wanting to know how I can link our character sheets....

PbP makes time zones etc sort of irrelevant - you don't have to post real-time. I make my posts in PbP when most other players are in bed, as I'm in the UK. The best advice I can give is rather than creating your characters and looking for a DM/game, you'd be better off keeping an eye out for recruitment threads and posting your interest in one of those. paizo.com has a healthy PbP community as well.

i'm fully aware of that, but if possible I would enjoy being able to be at the same time as the DM and others. I'm ifne with playing with a post each day but then again it's not always bad to speed things up.

FYI, I'm recruiting for a PbP game here for a campaign using Paizo's Pathfinder Chronicles Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path. We will be starting at 1st level, using the Core 3.5 rules only.

Post your character by Friday to be in the running. I have posted a format I'd like to use for character info.
