Now, if you had Superman's powers, you could go a long way towards this goal without even acting outside of the law; cool as the latter may sound it rarely ever turns out well in the real world. (We're assuming for arguements sake that you are the only superhuman on the planet and it remains that way - otherwise things get really messy. Kingdom Come -level messy).
Thing is you'd get assassins after you even if you worked within the law. There are a lot of elites whose prosperity is directly related to keeping the bulk of the world's population impoverished. Besides this "law" was made up in isolation & foisted upon the world.

Think of my version of a superhero as a classical anarchist, prepared to destroy a lot to ensure the rebuilding is on level foundations. Also as a super-human, human morality as such would hold no sway over my actions, I would have my own holistic super-morals.

Oh yeah that reminds me, I'd abolish these artificial "states" & allow the global union of nations to take its natural place. Heh, I'd love these assassins to highlight which nation gets the top 1% of its population wiped... problem is so many people & I'd be dedicated not to use wmd...

And perhaps you could take a course in psychology while you're at it to understand why it wouldn't work.

And the government would have a chunk of kryptonite.

Well it's true I flunked my psyche101 paper so I'll just have to rely on my (soon to be graduated) degrees in international relations & history. Btw, the modern state system is what 300 years old? Yet various forms of civilizations had existed quite nicely for a few millennia beforehand. This indicates that the modern state system is probably just going to be another phase before the next form of governance. The new world order would likely be the age of cities or the era of true advanced communism, but a UN summit would get to choose. What is clear is that the current capitalist state system is not delivering to humankind.

My superhero would merely be an agent of acceleration, the ideas already have been articulated.

Guess what the first mission would be?

Getting the thread closed?

I warned on page 1 that if it got too political it would get closed, and that line has been overstepped.
