Resident Evil d20

The fellow who made The Umbrella Files was one of my gaming buddies and I've been at work trying to convert his CoC supplement to d20 Modern. It has been put on hold for the last couple of years though, since I don't really have any interested players and therefore no reason to finish it. I have to say though, that my friend's work needs a lot of fine-tuning because you'll see that a lot of his statistics are rather random (such as monsters not getting average hit points from their HD and so on).

Eh. . . most of it's still sound, though. Note that monsters are largely a random thing in d20, anyhow (i.e., the process for creating them involves more guesswork than anything). He may have simply adjusted the HP totals to reflect the challenge that the monsters seem to present in the source material.

Sure, but none of us really had a lot of rules knowledge regarding the basic framework of d20. For example, he didn't use a lot of the d20 creature types but made something up on his own without any real guidelines and that's why the material isn't very coherent. I was on the project myself, so I'm not blaming him for anything. I'm just explaining the somewhat random use of numbers.
