Resident Evil:The Movie

God, I can't wait for this movie! I was never much of a fan of the games (the whole "search for pieces to a puzzle that just happens to have been set up in an abandoned mansion/police station" premise seemed a bit unrealistic to me), but I love the mood. It also doesn't hurt that one of my favorite bands (Slipknot) is on the soundtrack. :)

The other film I'm waiting for is Anne Rice's Queen of The Damned, for two reasons:

1. It's apparently a pseudo-sequel to Interview With The Vampire, one of my favorite movies EVER. :D

2. Jonathan Davis is involved in the music (providing Lestat's singing voice and collaborating on the score). His work with Korn has always fascinated me.

They are my favorite Playstation games, but I think I ruined it for my brother when I went straight thru RE2 on my 4th try.

The Licker looks good and so does "The Red Queen", I just hope they include the Tyrant and Nemesis "Starrrrrrs".

I, too, had been eagerly waiting for this movie, but from what I've heard, it's really bad.

Starrrrrrrs.....heh. Good games, should be interesting to see how well they translate to the big screen. I really was disapointed with RE3's ending--I don't think it was nearly as interesting and worth the effort as RE2. I highly doubt we'll see Nemesis or Tyrant in the movies though. The trailer looks promising--licker was done well, and of course, there's lots of zombies. What's with the whole Red Queen thing though? Was this in RE1 or Code Veronica?

Never played any of the games but this movie looks good, hopefully it will be (unlike almost all movies based on computer games). One point in its favour-Milla Jovovich

Absolutely.:) Reminds me alot of the game, which is a good thing.

Technically, Queen of the Damned is a sort of sequal to Inview with the Vampire. They skipped Vampire Lestat for some reason, which is kind of weird since Vampire Lestat was her first big hit.
