Resilience + Font of Power

In my current game, I'm playing an Elan Psion, and will eventually gain ten levels in metamind. As an Elan, for every 1 power point I expend when I am attacked, I can ignore 2 points of damage (resilience). The thing I'm wondering about is when I gain the font of power ability (infinite power points, 1 minute a day), can I expend as many power points as I want and negate all damage, for that one minute? Or do I simply expend my normal reserve, as I would do with metaconcert?

"While so empowered, he can manifest any of his powers without drawing from his power point reserve..."

Since Resilience is not a power, it would come from your normal pool. Also, remember you can only Resilience once per round anyways, since it's an Immediate Action.

Thanks, I must've missed that line. I am aware that it's an immediate action, but the BBEG in the campaign is a wizard, so I don't expect to use resilience more than once per round.

No worries. They put in that line on purpose because powers are limited by manifester level while other abilities may not be. Good luck with your Metamind--personally, I think that it is not worth the five lost manifester levels, though I did make one for a gestalt game where I gestalted in psion levels on the missing levels :)

My DM plans on taking us up to level 30... Otherwise I probably would go with the psion uncarnate. Being an epic level character, stylistically, it only makes sense that my eyes should glow brilliantly while I nuke everything.

Ah, level 30. With a wizard, I would be willing to lose caster levels for a PrC after level 20, but thanks to augmenting powers, I still wouldn't do it with a Psion.

I'd normally agree with you, but I'm playing an egoist, more focused on helping my party, and myself, rather than directly blasting my foes.
