Resize magic items

Yes, it does, but I believe that the armor only resizes to fit one size category smaller or larger than the intended wearer.

Do you have a reference for that? I don't like the idea of a halfling's magical leather armor resizing to fit a cloud giant that tries to put it on, so I'd like to see such an official ruling.

Here's a question... what about other items, like staves?

Insofar as I know, there's no function in the DMG to randomly roll up halfling sized magical staves as treasure.

Does this mean that dwarves, halflings and gnomes must make their own staves, or do magical staves automatically resize to conform to their weilder?

Pg.179 of the DMG, which kreynolds referenced above, says that Magic armor, "like almost all magic items, resizes itself to fit the wearer." So presumably staves, rings, boots, etc. all change around to fit whoever the user is.

What about weapons? I ruled not, in a campaign I am running, but I am considering re thinking that. It does mean that the giant king with the +4 Greatsword of Wounding will have useful items for the party, if they survive. Also that Magical Pixie weapons are of use, Or that a Pixie or Giant can disarm, and take the players weapons (and use them). Seems messy to me, if you allow it.
