what have been your reasons to limit healing magic for once per day?
Isn´t casting restricted enough by mana?

Is there anything I miss?

I do so if I think so - but I'm afraid to miss something that made the rule neccessary.

It’s to have an appropriate level of ‘deadliness’ (not the term I’d choose, because the game isn’t particularly deadly).
