Resurrection on Ysgard

First Post
According to the Manual of the Planes, those slain on Ysgard battlefields are resurrected next morning as with true resurrection.
At first I thought that all those who died by mortal wounds were a candidate for resurrection, but after seeing the Rakka in the Fiend Folio (pg. 70) and her Dying Curse I became doubtful.

So my question is, ¿what is considered a battlefield?

IDHMBIFOM, but I think it refers to the huge battlefields where the petitioners on Ysgard get together and have battles just for the heck of it.

The reference to battlefields is consistent throughout the entry. I agree with Shilsen that it refers to realms and places within Ysgard that are permanent battlefields, including
  • the smoking battlefields that dot the layer of Ysgard
  • the wrestling square within Kord's feasthall
  • the Plain of Ida
  • the passes of the Serpent Spine of Muspelheim
  • the borders of Svartalfheim

Also someone who is slain other than by wounds sustained in battle might not be resurrected.
