We've had threads about your characters' last words, but what about their "first" words - as in, what did they say right after having been the target of a Raise Dead?
Here are mine:
"I'm a FREAKIN' HALFLING!" - by the ex-halforc barbarian, right after a Reincarnate spell.
"What? Then why the heck did we walk up to here and got me killed if you had Teleport without Error?!?" - by the human sorcerer, killed in a very dangerous region, after the cleric raised him and told him that maybe they'd better use his Teleport without Error to reach their destination.
