Ed Stark has said that due to playtest and fan feedback, that Paladin and Monk multiclass restrictions are here to stay. What say you?

Couldn't care less. I currently ignore that "rule." I'll likely do so in the future.

I want whatever drugs that those folks took, because it has to be some super-powerful stuff if it can cloud their reason that badly. Getting rid of those restrictions is a no-brainer.

I inore them for my game, but I would really have liked them to ditch this stupid rule, because the DM of the game I play in adheres to whatever it says in the handbook and only what it says in the handbook.

Really dumb rule. Who are these playtesters that want to keep it? ?!!

What, did they use the same playtesters for 3.5 that kept the sacred cows in 3.0?

Options, not restrictions, remember.

edit: lost my temper there.

stupid WotC....

any DM who runs the game strictly according to the books should be drug out into the street and beaten repeatedly with a whiffle bat......filled with angry termites.

I've got no problem with it either way...while I can understand why people don't like the restriction, I can also understand why its there. Those two classes are made to require dedication, etc etc. Though its easy to just houserule it away, I feel sorry for people that play under DMs that won't...

I am rather surprised at this. I do not remember anyone really coming out in favor of this rule, even when I have seen people attacking it on message boards.

Oh, wait! I know! It must have been the WotC proofreaders that tallied the votes! :D
