The question is not what everyone chooses. The question is what I choose and how much it costs.
My choice to play RPG's has cost me relatively little in dollars compared to...say...a single weekend of skiing.
It has cost me hours. Fortunately, those hours have been spent with life-long friends that have been more important to me than someone I might have met briefly while skiing.
