Return to Undermountain

The irony is that the free series will probably provide more information than the old boxed sets which were significant for their lack of detail.

I doubt it, it sounds like it'll just be selected rooms revisited here and there, not a serious attempt to convert the whole dungeon. (or even the already detailed parts of it)

Well, perhaps it'll follow other Web expansions in that there will be x provided on the web and then down the road, they'll collect and expand upon it and put it into a hardcover?

Thanks for posting this. I always loved Undermountain, although never have played in any game with it that lasted more than three sessions.

Wicked news. Something I've wanted (more of UMT detailed) for many years now.

Yep, sounds like that to me as well.

This is cool! My first ever serious D&D game was Undermountain oriented. I'll definetly have to check this out. I just need to find a way to fit a giant dungeon in the desert setting I am working on.

This is fantastic!
Especially as I'm running an ongoing Undermountain crawl.
Now if only they'd give Undermountain a proper WLD treatment.

Don't you think that maybe they gave the WLD the Undermountain treatment? I think they gave the Undermountain the Castle Greyhawk treatment. :)
