Revenge of the iron lich

I absolutely love this and the whole fourthcore concept. Absolutely on my "gotta run" list. The Worlds Most Dangerous Dungeon Master approves.

Yeah, wow, ouch!

Lovin it! I will definitely be getting stuff from this adventure into mine.

But yes, it's sooo brutal as written, and my players are quite fond of their characters, and they have been know to walk head first into every single trap I put in their path ... which means guaranteed failure if I were to run it as is ... but a mine of ideas!

I would love to run this as a one shot with characters players werent attached to and just let the dice fall where they may though! I'm sure it would be awesome!!!

edit: besides my players would probably spend 2 and a half hours talking about what to do in the first room, hehehehe!

Very, very good indeed. I've given it a quick read through and when I get the time I hope to have a detailed study and give it a review on my website (maybe this weekend) and sing its praises.

Its so good I am actually going to donate them some cash. Amazed this is a free download, I'd suggest adding a few pieces of art and selling it as a pdf for $5 a pop.

I think it has several advantages over official material; bags of personality, some great ideas and looks very challenging. But the key distinction seems to be the encounter diversity. When contrasting this with one of the Adventure Path adventures or Revenge of the Giants for instance, it has noticeably less combat and far more focus on traps, puzzles and exploration. The dearth of combat encounters was initially jarring (my head clearly too much in the 4E books of late) but the less is more approach really works and coupled with the fact that when it does have combat, its brilliantly handled with some imaginative set pieces and the whole thing comes together perfectly. So the variety is great and the mix really punctuates the other encounters, keeping PCs guessing and making each encounter stand out more.

Great stuff. I'd love to work with these guys on something. Very creative.
