So, can someone tell me a little bit about what makes the different human ethnic groups and cultures different from each other?
I tend to think that some themes in the Realms are a bit over done. Maybe it is a time for a break as far as the drow are concerned. (It might actually be interesting to see the differences in the surface elves and focusing on dwarves as well.)
As I vaguely recall, the Odonoti orcs were converted to the worship of Eldath in Myth Drannor. I believe that at least some began as orphans raised by the elves in their fight against the orcs. (At least this beats infanticide, which seems to be out of character for a primarily Chaotic Good culture.) If you go to the link in my sig, find Virtual Fantasy in the FR section.
