Rich Baker posts Lost Empires of Faerun Contents pages

Amazon has it in preorder for cheap. I preordered it (and a bunch of other cheap things, to save on the shipping cost). A $10 save is a good thing.

Really looking forward to this book. It (and the other FR releases for 2005) are top of my "To Get" list. Especially this one, as my players will have a few ruins to investigate later in my current campaign. And I cast my vote for a 3.5 Old Empires book covering Mulhorand, Chessenta, what is left of Unther, Murghom and Semphar. I'd buy that in a heartbeat. Anyone from WotC Product Management hear that?

I really hope I get more info on the ruins of Ascore.
Now if they would just give the area west of the Silver Marches and north of waterdeep some attention, that would be stupendous.
I'm with you there. Ascore and Gauntlgrym have always intrigued me to no end. Giant frog-like creatures dancing around strange pyramids? Count me in!

If your interested in the strange "Giant frog like creatures" I suggest you invest in the issue of Dungeon Magazine which has Rich Bakers Prison of the Flamebringer module.... It reveals much..

Actually, the info from Prison of the Flamebringer will be in the FR evil-characters book coming out soon. Hooray for Bazim-Gorag!

I've fallen behind on FR products for a while now, because I DMed homebrews and Eberron, but this still looks really interesting. I love the history of the Realms, which this has in spades, and the monster conversions are welcome.

Oh, and is it just me, or does the Ten Player Reasons to buy Ancient Empires seem more sarcastic than that feature usually does?

Demiurge out.

Oh heavens, are you kidding me? I love my subscription to Dungeon. Prison of the Firebringer was the best recent FR adventure in Dungeon. The best in a long time.
