OOC: We can build a fire and keep a watch all night long. I think all the sleepers should stay near each other and near the well. Phoenix only needs 4 hours in a deep trance to equal 8 hours of rest. So she could go either first or last for a shift of watching for intruders from around them and from in the well.

Lookspring decides to take the first watch. After all the recent excitement he was having a hard time settling down. He'll spend his watch sitting near the edge of the well and listening for anything creeping around down in the darkness.

Lookspring first watch, then the sailors take turns and Phoenix last watch. Is Phoenix staying up with others and only resting 4 hrs?

OOC: We'll do two shifts. Lookspring and half the sailors will stay up for first shift while the other sailors and Phoenix rest. Then Phoenix and the sailors that slept already will awaken and watch while Lookspring and the other sailors sleep. Phoenix will do her 'resting' meditation during the first 4 hours of the first shift. So she'll be awake for the 12 hours following that while the others are resting. Also, before she rests, she'll spend her last remaining Power Point of the day to activate her Repletion power so she won't need to eat or drink for the next 24 hours.

During the second shift faint sounds, as if someone walking below, can be heard from the well although nothing emerges and nothing can be seen if you look down the well. Nothing else happens during the rest.

Phoenix feels energized by her restful meditation and begins the day with zeal. Her first action is to use a new power she has developed. Concentrating on her mindblade, she charges it with psychic energy that will stay in the blade until the next time she attacks something. Then, it should deal some extra damage to their minds! (Psychic Strike power) Getting prepped to head back down the well, she starts another sunrod before using the rope and grapple again to descend into the well with Lookspring and the sailors...

The sailors pack their belongings (what few they have with them) and prepare to descend into the well. They suggest all going this time since they experienced nothing during the previous excursion.

Lookspring follows them down into the well and begins checking for tracks to see if anything new has wandered through here.

Everyone is in the tunnels at the well entrance. Has the marching order changed? Any other activity?

Phoenix will take point with Lookspring following between her and the sailors. Exploring back into the cave, they will take it slow while keeping an eye out for any other creatures who may have come in while they rested above...
