As the group reorganizes and moves forward into the tunnels they seem unchanged from when you were there before, except no skeletons. At least not yet

You move to the first area where the tunnel opens into a larger cavern.

Phoenix looks around as they advance inward toward the dam...

Lookspring grimaces, having a hard time seeing anything useful in the scuffed up earth. He looks up as the group starts to move.

The group moves into the larger cavern where they had battled many skeletons previously. Piles of bones still lay where they fell. The cavern seems empty of any threat.


[sblock=Lookspring]Having moved in front of the sailors with only Phoenix ahead of you, you determine at least 2 Dwarves have walked this area since you left to rest. No sign that they are in this area though.[/sblock]


The tunnel leads to the east toward where you battled the first dwarves.

"Pretty quiet so far. Let's keep it that way on our end too, alright folks?" Phoenix says as she continues moving forward cautiously. She heads on towards the three piles that the dwarves hid behind before. If nothing is found here, she will continue on to the dam wall itself...

 

[SelcSilverhand]

"We should separate and creep in quietly. They may have left traps or alarms behind. From the marks on the floor, I'd say there are at least two of the filthy things left." Lookspring moves to the front and tries to put some distance between him and the noisy group as he follows the route back towards the dam.

The group moves forward as quietly as possible. Lookspring and Phoenix think....not bad for a bunch of sailors. You see nothing near the stone piles although Lookspring and Phoenix both get the feeling they are being watched.


ooc: you are in the area with the stone piles. Move on to the dam?

Phoenix whispers to Lookspring, "Why do I feel like a mouse who sees a trap but is overcome by the scent of the cheese sitting on it? You do remember that these dwarves could disappear, right? They could be standing all around us just waiting to jump us. Ahh, sorry Lookspring, didn't mean to give you something new to be paranoid about... But what choice do we have, eh? Let's head forward and break their trap if there is one!"

OOC: Like Phoenix said, if you can't see the trap there's no use in trying to avoid the invisible. She will head forward toward the dam herself, confident in her growing ability to deal with whatever threat shows itself.

Lookspring peers into the darkness around him worriedly. This isn't going to end well... we're all going to die down here! He bares his teeth but forces himself to move onward with the rest of the group
